As a mother of 4 children ( my eldest has moved and is working in Brisbane), I can honestly say that Cheeky lil Monkeys @ Pimpama has been born of my frustration of not being able to do it all.

As parents we are so busy trying to take care of our children and our home and to keep up with all of our children's interests and committments.   Then we add work to the mix.   I can honestly say that I have found it exhausting.  Impossible even.

Family Day care for me has become a way for me to provide for my children in a manner that allows me the freedom to still do all of the things that they need me to do.  For eg netball training, rugby training and school runs.

I love caring for and educating Children.  I love that I can invite and include these children as part of our little family.

I believe that when a child feels safe, when a child feels the stability of a good home and when a child is given space to explore and be themselves, they will flourish.

I am currently studying a Diploma in Early Childcare Education with a view to furthering my studies with a Certificate in Montessori Practices.  I will be completing work experience with Montessori Giggles The Montessori Journey as part of my training.

At this stage of my life with a very active toddler, a primary student, a high school student, a graduated son, and experience with being a foster parent, I feel that I have a wealth of experience to offer.

You will find me to be patient, kind and caring with an ability to set healthy boundaries and enforce them.
